In May 2023, I traveled with my family and boyfriend to Los Cabos, Mexico to attend a wedding. We spent a total of 6 days visiting Pueblo Bonito resorts in Los Cabos, sightseeing, and eating Mexican food. On the 4th day, we visited Pueblo Bonito Rose Resort and Los Blancos Los Cabos Beach Resort.

Pueblo Bonito Rose Resort

In the morning, me, my mom, Julius and his girlfriend drove to Pueblo Bonito Rose Resort*. When we reached the main gate, a man waved us in. We found parking easily in the parking lot. The walk to the lobby took less than 5 minutes. It was a much shorter walk than walking from the parking lot to the Sunset Beach Resort.

To enter the lobby, we walked through sliding glass doors and saw a beautiful rotunda filled with antique sculptures and cabinets. We continued to walk straight through another set of doors, which led us to a long fountain with a Poseidon statue.

From afar, we could hear the song ‘A Sky Full of Stars’ blaring, so we followed the music until we saw the main pool. I didn’t plan on swimming in the pool, so I just walked around it with my mom. Whereas Julius and his girlfriend ran to the pool and jumped in. They joined the fitness class, which was being led by an instructor.

Me and my mom walked by the pool and saw a bar where we could order drinks if we became thirsty. Then, we saw an area full of empty beach chairs facing the ocean. It was really nice that we could access the beach and swim in the ocean from the resort. It was also interesting to see the beach had a fence made of string, which prevented people from crossing the line to sell souvenirs to the resort guests.

We walked for a couple of minutes and noticed another Pueblo Bonito Resort called Blanco Los Cabos Beach Resort. We walked around this resort and went into a deli shop, which sold coffee, food, and wine bottles. We bought a large mocha frappe ($5) and received a 20% discount for staying at Malvila.

We explored the Blanco Los Cabos Resort, which was different than the Rose Resort. The Blanco Los Cabos resort’s pool had a small waterfall and more kids in the pool.

Instead of a long fountain, there was a small bridge that sat on top of a koi pond. Then, there was also a bird cage full of exotic yellow and green birds.

After exploring the resorts, we went back to get changed for the wedding.
