Wanderlust – A strong desire to wander, travel and explore the world.

Welcome to JV Wanderings

Hello and welcome! We’re Janice and Julius Vazquez, founders of the JV Wanderings travel website. We are siblings that love to see the world and write about all things travel related.

Our love for travel began at a very young age. As infants, we embarked on our first trip to Williamsburg, VA, when Janice was just 2 years old and Julius was 4. Although we don’t recall much from that trip, it was the start of our wanderlust. In 2003, we traveled to Taiwan, unaccompanied by our parents, for a month-long visit to see our relatives. That was an unforgettable trip where we learned about the local culture, cuisine, and architecture. Ever since we wandered abroad as children, we’ve been eagerly searching for our next thrilling adventure.

Why JV Wanderings was born…

Working in the corporate world full-time, we can only indulge in our passion for travel when we have accumulated enough vacation time. Though, we make sure to embark on exciting adventures either with each other, our loved ones, or family annually. We started this blog to share our travel adventures and resources to help you plan and prepare for your upcoming adventures!
We hope this travel blog inspires you to develop a sense of curiosity about the world, find ways to make time for travel, and embark on your own adventures. We hope to provide valuable insights and inspiration that will encourage you to step out of your comfort zone and discover the beauty of the world.
