In May 2023, I traveled with my family and boyfriend to Los Cabos, Mexico aka Cabo San Lucas to attend a wedding. We spent a total of 6 days visiting different resorts, sightseeing, and eating Mexican food. On the 3rd day, we ate delicious Mexican food, drank fruity cocktails, and danced the night away to electronic music.

Parking

We parked within the shopping mall’s parking garage. When we entered, we saw people standing by the vacant spaces, clutching wet towels. They kept waving and urging us to take those spots. We knew if we parked at that spot, then they would ask us to pay them to wash our car. We drove to the bottom floor and found a parking spot. Exiting through the shopping mall’s main entrance, we were greeted by the sight of the pier. It took 10 minutes to walk to Cabo Escape.

Cabo San Lucas Boat Party

At 5pm, we embarked on the boat and were eager to get out on the water. While we were waiting for the other guests to board, we gazed outwards and were treated to the spectacle of jumping manta rays from the water! It was an incredible sight as I’ve never seen anything like it before. There were at least 20 manta rays jumping out of the water. Once all of the guests got on board, we headed outwards towards the Arch of Cabo San Lucas, the famous arch-shaped rock formation.

The boat stopped so everyone could take pictures with The Arch of Cabo San Lucas, but that caused the boat to be very rocky. I was in high heels and was struggling to stand, so I had to sit to enjoy the view. After 20 minutes, the boat continued out into the open water.

Dinner

Around 6:30pm, dinner was served. We descended to the lower deck to indulge in tacos complemented by beans, lettuce, and various condiments. Everything was very tasty. Post-feast, we ascended to the upper deck to watch the sunset and to dance the night away.

Dancing

It was so much fun! The ship’s crew turned on the string lights, playfully flickering them on and off, evoking the ambiance of a rave. The DJ was playing edm bangers from Seven Lions to Showtek. At one point, a man took out his poi and began rocking out with it.

At 8pm, our time on the boat came to an end. Overall, the Cabo San Lucas boat party was a captivating experience, brimming with energy, and the sunset vistas were nothing short of awe-inspiring.
